Why add Zen Basil seeds?

Many Good reasons but, let talk about Iron in Zen Basil Seeds.

Iron🔥

Iron: “Iron is a mineral that serves several important functions, with its main one being to carry oxygen throughout your body as a part of your red blood cells.” You can think of it as your body’s WiFi... “It’s an essential nutrient, meaning you must get it from food. The Daily Value (DV) is 18 mg.” According to Healthline.com

Just one serving of Zen Basil seeds will give you 12.4mg.

Especially to our vegan friends who don’t get their daily iron and calcium needs from meat and dairy.

According to healthline.com:

The additional known nutrition facts of basil seeds are: Prebiotic, Collagen, Antioxidants, Anti-inflammatory, Polyphenols, other plant compounds, as well as the Omegas.

Since, Zen Basil seeds are 1st to market with edible USDA Organic CERTIFIED basil seeds, in California, the health benefits were not popular in US until now, we’re thrilled to be introducing this superfood to our health and wellness industry. I’m personally humbled by the amount of coverage our healthy seeking publications have already published about us. But, the research and science about the health benefits of basil seeds (with countless publications) goes back over a thousands years that I can trace in my own culture in the heart of Asia.

Zen Basil seeds are USDA Organic CERTIFIED, Kosher Certified, Naturally Vegan, Keto-Friendly and Gluten-free as well as Lectin-Free.

Lectin-Free, means you may enjoy them dry. Note, that products that may have lectin, as in case of chia, must be well cooked and even then we’re not sure if they are not inflammatory in your body…see Dr. Steven Gundry about the full studies done lectin and chia …

Do you need to soak?

Not required. The Nutrition Fact Sheet of Zen Basil seed are based on our dry seeds confirmed by 3rd party lab results. Therefore, you are consuming all the nutrition listed on our label.

Note, Zen Basil seeds are 1st to market with the idea of edible basil seeds. The nutrition Fact sheet on our label is confirmed by 3rd party lab results and verified by U.S. FDA certification agency and regulated by Stat of California Health Department.

*Be careful of copycat brands (usually foreign based brands that do not pack in USA, they may simply copy any brands nutrition fact sheet. Since they do not pack in USA, their label facts are not required to be in compliance with U.S. FDA regulation, they may even sell on Amazon without proper certifications….

Zen Basil seeds hydrate rather quickly, you may use them straight from the bag dry into your smoothie mixer and they hydrate in the blender in about 15 sec.

Note, the longer you blend, the thicker and creamier they become. Adjust the blender’s timing according to your preference.

The hydrated seeds do activate more of the enzymes, plus, you turn 1 tbs of the basil seeds into a full cup of goodness, little goes a long way.
